Opening Statement
The Maps & Genealogies section of the Eskesthai Master Atlas records how works, ideas, subjects, and expressions relate across the archive.
The Taxonomy identifies where a work belongs.
The Genealogy records how an idea develops through time.
The Map shows what a work or idea connects to.
Together, these three record types provide a working method for documenting the structure, development, and relationships of the archive.
They should remain distinct, but they should also be linked. A single work may have one Taxonomy record, belong to one or more Genealogies, and appear on one or more Maps.
The purpose of this section is not to impose a new story upon the archive. It is to preserve relationships that can be supported, examined, revised, and extended as the archive develops.

it is important to understand the development process that took place here on Dialogos of Eide. This concept is as old as time itself when comes to us thinking of the Dialogues of our ancient past.
The Ancient Dialogue: Socrates ↔ Interlocutor
It was important that a Map/Genealogy be established to bring the old and the new together.
This gives us an important distinction:
- Taxonomy: Where does a work belong?
- Genealogy: How does that work relate to earlier and later work?
- Archive: Where is the original work preserved?
- Custodian: How can those relationships be discovered without depending on the builder’s memory?
We should use this existing framework as our governing structure.
